As our current Flagship video capture, we are using a classic but finely aged wine - the Panasonic Lumix FZ-1000 packs a pretty heavy punch for the size and price of the camera. Designed primarily for high motion photography, this wonder of technology also produces some incredible video, over and above what other video specific camera might offer in the same price bracket.
Featuring a 20.1 Megapixel capacity over a full 1-inch High Sensitivity MOS Sensor / 20.9 Mpx Total Pixel Number / Primary Colour Filter. (37 - 592 mm in 35 mm equiv. in 4K video recording)

Audio & Microphones
This amazing wireless mic combo is going to make our audio capturing experience so much easier! While recording conversations between 2 of the characters, we can attatch these wireless mics under the costumes, and have them transmit a fully mixed audio to the camera for when we call "ACTION"!
With this unit, we can only record two people at a time, so we'll have to share. However it clears the need for requiring a dedicated, overhead boom mic slipping down into the shot when the guy holding it falls asleep. Audio captured from the wireless mics are feeded live into a portable mixer, so we can tune each mic to the best possible tone for the performers to really deliver the subtle nuances.
And with the 3.5mm jack built into each of the 2 transmitters, we can also use this unit to plug anything else in through the jack, and transmit it the board, or camera.
Lighting & Accessories
Having a basic 3 tone light for adding highlights and additional lighting to your scene is fairly standard. Although I like to use natural lighting as often as possible, sometime the sensor just needs that bit of kick to keep the image looking nice and clear, without having to dip to hard into ISO to make up for dark settings and sets.
This 3 tone ring light is a fairly standard sale from many different companies offering their own version of it. Very affordable, and can be powered by a portable USB power pack or other USB power source.
Djemini Knightwatch | Mobile Cinematic Camera Rig
Click the banner below to check out the most recent developments to our custom camera rig stabilization system, the Knightwatch v3! Djemini Studios is by no means a high budget video production company, so we've had to rely on thrift, and creative solutions for getting our hands on some video stabilization gear.
But after many months of research and poking around on Ebay, I was able to find some really good deals and pieces of gear that could be combined and assembled to make a decent steady cam rig that I've dubbed the "Djemini KnightsWatch"

Phantom 3 Standard Drone
This wonderful piece of technology came with a slight price, ut over time will prove to be well worth it! 10 years ago, to produce the same kid of images this drone can capture would have cost thousands of dollars to produce... per hour. But today with digital / wireless sytems, and with modern tech and market availability, the sky is now the limit (no pun intended)
Some of the images you can see in the concept trailer I released for Dawn of Dragons features some of the first footage I shot with this drone. You may not be able to see it from the camera angles I used, but I was both filming and performing on screen at the same time! These are the things that are now possible for us to do with this new drone video equipment.
The Phantom 3 comes in a convenient ABS hard carry case, with a compliment of accesories like spare blades, a small torque wrench, batteries, and other small doodads. The pakage itself is fairly lightweight, and can be carried into remote filming locations and set to be employed for up to aprox 50 minutes of flight time (about 10 minutes of footage) before having to recharge the two batteries I have for it.
