Multimedia on Steroids | Totally Emersive Web Design Elements

Using a few HTML tricks up my sleeve, I've discovered a way to create high quality and fully emmersive web design. With this discovery I am able to produce embed elements ranging from full page content browsers like you'll see on several Djemini Network pages, to compact digital business cards, ad banners, video & audio players, branded social link trees and more!

What are Widgets? | Well, its kind of hard to explain...

Widgets are compact, multi-functional, custom interactions that can be copied and shared for your profile and website visitors to engage with in an effort to promote the Djemini Network and its sponsors. Widgets can include stylized text, backgrounds, boarder frames and your own mixed multimedia, all assembled and arranged to work in a sleek, info packed, animated presentation. You could almost consider them miniature websites that can be embedded inside webpages, blogs, or any other user interfaces that allow you to input and display HTML / iframe embed codes.

Taking my web designer game back up a notch, Djemini Widgets allows me to embed small, animated and fully interactive multimedia presentations of any size, style, theme, brand or functional simplicity / complexity. I can embed and layer mixed multimedia like images, videos, audio / music players, text layers, background images and frames, animated GIFS & buttons, text & image hyperlinks, floating menus, multiple page slides... etc. all into one, compact space. In other words... the limits of the imagination are the boundaries of the creative reality. From designing fully emersive digital business cards and ad banners, to designing custom mixed media players, I can do just about anything with these.

I design these widgets using WIX.com technology, which can be embedded and displayed on any websites or pages using HTML / iframe code. Major social media sites have shied away from allowing HTML and iframes on their platforms, because it can get a little messy, and isn't as consumer easy or convenient as standardized "premade" code with a "one size fits all" design. The result of using HTML and iframes, however, is vastly superior when you get it right!

By encorporating widgets into your profile and / or group pages, you can create exclusively branded style and functionality that is free from some of the design limitations we have here on the Djemini Network. Though when combined with the basics we provide here, you can create some of the most stuffing looking and highly functional social networking profiles imaginable!

THE BEST OPTION IS TO CREATE A WIX ACCOUNT FOR YOU, WHICH CAN HOST MULTIPLE WIDGETS AND DESIGN VARIATIONS. 

To copy a widget without using HTML code:

1. Click and drag your cursor from the top left corner to the bottom right until the whole widget is highlighted. Press CTRL + C to copy it to your clip board. Protip: While on the Djemini Network, you can copy any body of highlighted content, and copy an almost exact replica to clipboard, including pictures, videos, mized content tables, and these widgets.
   
   
2. Go to where you want to paste it on the Djemini Network click to place your cusor in the field and press CTRL + V to paste. The default width is set to 100% meaning it will span the full width of whatever field you input it to. The widget is default aligned to display in the center if the field.

Embedding with HTML / iframe Code:

1. Click, drag and highlight the yellow line of code below, then press CTRL + C to copy it to your clipboard.
   
   
2. Go to any page slide, comment section, article, blog or any other field that allows you activate HTML mode. Activate HTML mode, place your cusor in the input field and then press CTRL + V to paste in the code. Deactivate HTML mode to preview, and always remember to save your work.
   
   
3. ( Advanced Users ) To copy to your own website, or another place on the internet where you can embed <iframe> codes, repeat step 1, then go to the location or page you want to copy it to, access the page code where you want to input the widget, place your cusor in the appropriate location in the webpage code, then press CTRL + V to paste in the widget code.

Customizing Widget Codes:

Most of these widgets on display in this archive may have styling variations to them, meaning there may be two or more versions of a widget you can select from. For example, if you profile has a light colour theme, some of the widgets here will have a light colour theme variant, while other variants might have a dark colour theme. For any details or additional codes for variations to the widget(s) you want to copy, just scroll to the bottom of the "Get this Widget" tab attached with each widget in its own page block.

Layout Formats | For Project Group Creators & Admins

Subscribers on the Djemini Network enjoy the ability to create groups. With that comes the ability to create their own group pages using our page creator application. While designing your group content pages and tab links to navigate them, each page gives you the option of choosing your layout and / or width of your page columns. Different layouts give us different widths for the columns,meaning we have to design our widgets in a way that fit those column defaults. Luckily, there is still a good variety to work with. Use the "Page Layouts" links at the top of this page to see the different sizes.
