A Mini Documentary of the Healing Power of Music

Djemini Studios has begun planning production and gathering footage to put together a short, feature mini documentary film on music in the Kootenays, and the effect that music has on healing ourselves and our communities in the post COVID era.

Set to include live footage from local buskers and community jam sessions combined with interviews and other commentary from the musicians themselves, Let There Be Music is sure to strike a chord with many over the powerful, life giving energy of music - Music is Medicine.

A Fan Written Verse to the Song of Ice and Fire

As some of you may heard, Game of Thrones is kind of a big deal, with an expansive and rich story lore to it with strong symbolic references to ancient mythologies from around the world. Therefore, Djemini Studios has taken on the daunting mission of offering an addition of our own to that World of Ice and Fire. 

Due to covid lock down over the last 2 years, it has been very difficult to host the pre-production, and have yet to audition our lead roles and secure some hands for the film crew. But alas, now that lock downs are being significantly lifted, work will continue to progress as planned. So if you or anyone you know is interested in auditioning for a part in the production for this film, make sure to let them know, and get in touch ASAP!
